We had stayed there as part of our colleagues get together. All were government staff. Stay, Hospitality, Food and Hospitality superb Plan to visit there in June as part of our PG mates get together All the best

One way to describe this place is - "A weekend jaunt". It's just an hour or so journey from Thodupuzha town but entirely different vibe. We feel more close to the misty mountains and nature. You get away from the city crowds and vehicle horns to a peaceful foggy and misty atmosphere. The villas are quite good not in a luxury sense but decent. We do have to pre-order the dinner, breakfast, and lunch. There isn't a variety of options available but you will kind of enjoy the limited menu too. You can explore the area in the evening for example the kulamav dam and other hidden spots on the way. A small trekking is also possible during the morning.. Overall it's a beautiful place for a blissful weekend.

Kananam Retreat is an amazing place to get away from the city grind and rush. It is the ideal spot to get some peaceful rest and enjoy with friends and family. The view is the best because of the altitude. Rooms, service and all other facilities are top notch.

Went for inquiry with my family for a family get-together function but was literally shooed away by the staff (bald guy) when we told we don’t have a booking. He didn’t even ask why we were there in the first place.. such arrogance is …

Super rude manager. Went there on a hike and manager came in an shoo's us off with zero hospitality or even spending a second in his uptight compound. Fwlt auper aweful with with hipocritic behaviour.

The location was good with beautiful mountain views, but activity options were limited due to the property's size. The cottage was good, the staff were polite, and the food was decent. Silence in the property!
